A Georgian Townhouse, Reimagined
Rankingsprouk Hotel occupies a row of Georgian townhouses along Brighton's seafront, originally built in the 1820s for the city's merchant families. In 2011, the building was carefully restored and joined into a single boutique hotel — preserving its ornate cornicing and sash windows while introducing a thoroughly contemporary interior.
The result is a property that feels rooted in its surroundings rather than imposed upon them: a hotel that locals recommend as readily as visiting guests discover it for themselves.
